The Sacred Heart of Jesus Youth Group in
Naour celebrated Jesus the King Day in appreciation of Lord of
lords, Jesus Christ, marking the end of the liturgical year.
To mark the day, a Mass was celebrated presided over by Fr. Rif’at Bader with the participation of a large gathering of the faithful in addition to displaced Iraqi brothers living at the Latin Church of Naour.
In his homily, Fr. Bader reviewed the difficult circumstance being experienced calling for giving all possible aid to the needy and the pained because who ever does so in practice fulfills the will of Lord Jesus. He said: We, the faithful, must not limit our donations to materialism but rather provide moral support to the needy.
